Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first few minutes. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving an ominous mark on her record in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill as she managed to finish her in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round with a TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. She fought her first big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus after both fighters fought hard in a tense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended the streak of winning. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya during the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
