Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and some morbid pleasure from the genre. Her first review was in 2009 and, after garnering some recognition on the forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. She was on the website until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
